Once again, thank you to all of the parents who donated to or who came in to help with the Valentine's day party. Also thanks for making sure that Valentines and boxes got made and came in. Without the help and support of our parents, our classroom would not run as smoothly. Thanks!!

Valentine's Party
Notes for the party went out today. If you are not able to bring in what I assigned to you, please let me know as soon as possible. You can send in these items any time this week.
The children need to bring in a Valentine for every person in the class (23) and they also need to bring in a box to collect their Valentine's in. These can also be sent in any time this week.
Also, if you want to come in to help with the party, you are free to do so, you just need to have a background check on file in the office.

With our snow days, we will now be in school on Friday, February 14th. I am assuming that we will be having the valentine's party on this day. I am waiting on official word from Mr. Martin. I am hoping to have party notes sent out this week. Be on the look-out for that!
Friday Fun Night
Friday Fun Night was a lot of fun! Big thanks to the Middle School teachers and students who organized and conducted the activities in all of the rooms.
Thanks to parents in our class for helping us get from room to room: Mrs. Hoeckelberg, Mrs. Panagiotidis, Mrs. Trivette, and Mrs. Ware.

Snow Make Up Day
We got notice today that the state waived 2 of the 3 snow days that we had last week. This means that we have 1 day to make up. We will be making this up on Friday, January 24th. School will be in session on this day.
Thank you!
Thank you to all the parents who helped with the Christmas Party! I think all the children had a really good time. In just a few weeks, I will be sending out information for the Valentine's Day party!! It will be here before we know it. Be on the lookout for that!
Friday Fun Science Night
Friday Fun Science Night is this Friday, January 17th. I have all but a few permission slips for this. If your child would like to attend, and I don't have a permission slip yet, please turn this in as soon as possible!
This is not a required night, but the children really enjoy it. I will be here to meet the children and I will keep track of them throughout the night.
I am in need of a few parents to help get the children from room to room. If you can help with that, please email me, or call me, or send a note in with your child.
Last thing: if possible, please dress your child in a white or light colored shirt for this night.
