Friday Fun Night

THIS Friday is the LAST day that we will accept permission slips for Friday Fun Night. We need a head count, so it is important that these get turned in.

We are also in need of parents who can come on that night to help move groups from room to room. Please give me a call, drop me an email, or send in a note if you are available to help.

The date for this is Friday, April 5th, from 6 to 8.

Thanks!!

Extra Homework

Just to let you know, I have changed some procedures in my classroom with work. We are nearing the last 9 weeks of school, and our pace is picking up considerably. Because of this, if your child does not complete all classwork during the day, it will be sent home to be finished. On the same token, if classwork is completed, but has many mistakes, it will be sent home for corrections. Every assignment that is extra will be listed on a slip of paper, so that you can be sure of what all needs to be completed at home.

2nd grade Science/Reading night

Forms went home last week for 2nd grade Science and Reading night. This is a night that was previously referred to as "Friday Fun Night" or Friday Fun Reading Night". If you have older children you may remember it.

The structure is being revamped a little this year, and it will include more science activities. This is a night where children can be dropped off at the school (to me) and then picked up a few hours later. We always have a big turn out and the children have a ton of fun.

If you have more questions regarding this, just let me know. I do need to know ahead of time who is attending, so please send those forms in.
