Last week and this week were a little different, with lessons being moved around to make room for our Christmas Around the World unit. These are this week's assignments, but they might change. If anything, you will see less in the red folder, never more.

This week your child will be reading and learning the meanings of the

Christmas Party Notes

Christmas party notes were sent home today in your child's gold folder. I'm sorry for the delay in getting these out. We had the flu go through our family last week, and I was absent for two days because of it.

The party is this Friday, set up begins at 1:45, and I am hoping that we can be finished with the party and clean-up by 2:50. If you would like to help, but haven't sent me a note, please do so as soon as possible. The only requirement for parent helpers is that you must have a background check on file in the office. Also, no younger siblings at the party please.

Remember, there is NO gift exchange among the students this year.

Class Party

Our class party will be on Friday, December 20th. Set up will begin around 1:45. I am in need of party planners. If you would like to assist in planning the party, please let me know. Once I have a group of planners, I will put you in contact with each other. Thanks, ahead of time!!

Book-It

November book-it calendars are due this Friday, December 6th.

Holiday Bears

We are at 100% participation for the holiday bears and they are so cute!! I hope you had fun with this project. Thanks for assisting your child with completing this.

Holiday Bears and Field Trip

If your child has not brought back his/her bear, please send this in ASAP. These had a due date of December 3rd.

Also, if you have not sent in the permission slip and money for our upcoming field trip, I would appreciate that coming in as soon as possible, too.
