Wrapping up the year!

This will mark the last post of this school year. I hope that you all have a restful and safe summer. I have enjoyed having each of your children this year. I hope that they have learned a lot, and that they have good memories of our time together. Please stay in touch and I look forward to getting hugs from your children in the hallways next year.

See ya!

Sumdog

I had some inquiries about joining the Slumdog website for extra practice for the kids. I tried to mess around with the website, but couldn't see where I could join for free. I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience for those of you who would like to use this site. Hopefully, you will find the list of websites that I sent home and included on this blog helpful.

End of Year Letter

Here is a copy of the end of year letter that just went home:

Wow, I can't believe that another school year has come and gone. After the last progress report went home, I had some parents express concern to me over how to give their child extra practice with math facts or reading. I went ahead and compiled a list of websites that look good for reading and math. These are good because not only do they offer extra practice, but this practice is presented to the children in a fun way. I have included raz-kids on this list. The children have been doing raz-kids at school, and with the login that I have included with this letter, they can continue to do raz-kids at home over the summer.

I hope everyone has a restful and safe summer!
